Pediatric Style Stirrups. These provide added comfort for children up to about 150 lbs. The boot measures 9.0" x 9.0" x 4" wide. The boot slides up and down on a round stainless rod that is shorter in length than a traditional stirrup.The whole stirrup can be abducted or adducted to best accomodate the patient and surgical field. The boot is similar to a traditional stirrup boot but has been modified to accomodate a smaller patient. It does not come up so high on the calf that the patient does not seat into the boot. We have also modified the length of the foot bed so the patient is not left floating as they would in an adult stirrup. It includes doughy soft reusable pads. It does require two clark sockets (BD-CS).
