David Scott Company | 2025 Year in Review

As 2025 comes to a close, we are taking a moment to reflect on a year that was meaningful, busy, and full of milestones. This year, we shipped products to all 50 states and 40+ different countries around the world. Our in-house logistics team handled everything from small parcel shipments to large freight orders, keeping products moving efficiently around the globe.

We often use these blog posts to highlight new product offerings, or to create “how-to” guides for our customers. We’d like to use this one to turn the lens inward and celebrate the more personal milestones we had this year.

A Year of Celebrations

While 2025 was productive, it was also filled with some unforgettable personal moments. We celebrated four marriages this year, a reminder that life outside the office and warehouse matters just as much as what happens within it.

The celebrations kicked off on Memorial Day weekend with Sean marrying his now wife, Kayla. The entire DSC team showed up to celebrate, and Jodi showed up the whole crew on the dance floor.

Jess and her husband, Joey, crossed the threshold next and held a surprise micro-wedding on the beach surrounded by close family. It was intimate, meaningful, and perfectly suited to the couple.

On Labor Day weekend, Brad married his better half, Zoe, at a beautiful Cape Cod affair. Once again, the DSC team showed up in full force and danced the night away.

To wrap up the year, Scott H and Kelly eloped in a private mountainside ceremony surrounded by New Hampshire foliage. They later celebrated with family at a barn dinner that was as warm and thoughtful as the ceremony itself.

A Family Business

At its core, David Scott Company is a family business. Founded in 1972 by Robert Kaplan, the company is now owned and operated by his son, David Kaplan, with both of his children working alongside him. This family foundation shapes how we work with one another and with our customers.

This year also marked a special milestone for our team as Scott, Jodi’s son and a familiar face around the company for years, joined the team full time. Having multiple generations connected to our business is something we do not take for granted. It reinforces the long-term mindset behind everything we do.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude

With such a tightknit team, David Scott Company truly operates like a family. We support one another, celebrate together, and take pride in the work we do every day. While our focus remains on operating room positioning products, the relationships built inside our walls and with our customers are what make this work meaningful.

We are incredibly thankful to every customer and partner who has trusted us over the past 54+ years. As we head into 2026, we look forward to continuing to support, improve, grow, and serve as a reliable resource for medical facilities around the world.
