Bean Bag Valve Replacement

Valve replacement kit for all Blue Diamond® Bean Bag positioners. This is the white valve only…not the red valve stem. It will also have a new silver locking collar as well as safety clip and tether.

How to Replace Bean Bag valves

(For use only with David Scott Valve Replacement Kit)

Use a crimping tool to remove the silver metal collar from the red stem.
Once the collar is removed, carefully remove the old valve (white) from the stem (red). DO NOT TWIST RED STEM as it can tear out.
Clean out the stem.
String the safety clip onto the provided cord.
Thread the cord, with the safety clip, through the metal collar, sitting in one of the indents.
Take the metal collar + cord and place it on the end of the red valve stem. Do not move it all the way down – it should stay at the end to secure the valve.
Insert the larger of the new valve (white with blue tubing) into the stem, working in carefully until snug. Blue tube should be fully concealed.
Use crimping tool or a pair of snub nose pliers to crimp both sides of the rind collar (some force is required to crimp).
