CASTrGARD Caster Cord Guard for Medical Equipment.

CASTrGARD Castter Cord Guards are a simple, effective solution designed to prevent cords, hoses, and cables from becoming trapped under equipment wheels in busy clinical environments. The device attaches directly to equipment casters and safely pushes aside cords and hoses as equipment is moved, helping clinicians maintain focus on patient care instead of clearing wheel obstructions.

By protecting valuable probes, wires, and monitoring cables from damage, CASTrGARD can help reduce costly replacements and workflow interruptions – estimated savings can exceed $1,000 per operating room annually. Developed by a physician-engineer familiar with the demands of the clinical environment, the device features a durable one-piece construction with no loose components to adjust or lose.

Made from high-impact polypropylene structural foam, CASTrGARD is lightweight, durable, and easy to install or remove. It is available in three sizes to fit a range of medical equipment casters and comes in multiple color options to support equipment identification and organization in the operating room.
