This Height Adjustable Air Cylinder Stool combines precision German engineering with rugged durability to meet the demands of surgical and clinical environments. Designed for stability, comfort, and mobility, it features a solid circular steel powder-coated base (20″ diameter) with an embedded black rubber bumper, which doubles as a footrest and adds rigidity to the structure.
Five heavy-duty, electrically conductive ball-bearing casters provide exceptional maneuverability and tilt-free stability. Each caster includes a self-locking spring mechanism that engages when the stool is not in use—offering added safety and control.
The foot-activated air cylinder allows seamless height adjustment from 21.5″ to 32″ (550–780 mm) while seated. Choose from a round seat (14″ diameter) or saddle-shaped seat (16″ x 15″), both covered in conductive, heavy-duty naugahyde over a thick foam cushion for optimal comfort and easy cleaning.
Models with adjustable back support (DSC-222167 & DSC-222168) offer additional ergonomic comfort—the padded backrest can be positioned for lumbar support or used as an armrest in certain postures.
