Multi-purpose Alcohol Cleaning wipes are widely used in medical facilities. These disinfecting wipes are approved for general cleaning use in many environments including hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, and therapy locations. With many locations opening for the first time post-COVID-19, these wipes are a necessity! For more information on using these products to disinfect your facility, refer to the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting your facility.
The CDC Trusted Source states, “alcohol wipes and alcohol based sanitizers can reduce the number of microbes on hands in some situations, but sanitizers do not eliminate all types of germs.” Ethanol Alcohol is a known antimicrobial agent for treatment of hands and other surfaces. The highest antimicrobial efficacy can be achieved with 60-85% Ethanol Alcohol. Disinfecting wipes are great for cleaning hard non-porous surfaces.
The sheet size is a standard 5.9″ x 7.8″ soft moistened towelette. It is based on a solution of 75% Ethanol Alcohol. It also includes Aqua, Benzalkonium Chloride and Glycerin to make a great disinfecting wipe.
