These Stainless Steel Closed Case Cart are engineered to withstand the demanding conditions of hospital environments while supporting infection control, efficient transport, and perioperative workflow. Purpose-built for use in sterile processing and surgical environments, the cart supports the full case workflow from instrument assembly in Central Sterile Processing through transport, staging, and return from the operating room. Its all-stainless steel construction is designed for repeated cart washer cycles, while non-stainless components are tested to withstand sustained exposure to high heat, elevated humidity, detergents, and disinfectants commonly used in automated washing and operating room protocols.
An integrated handle keeps the cart’s footprint compact while improving ergonomics and eliminating external protrusions and difficult-to-clean crevices. Interior solid stainless steel shelves are easy to clean and dry after washing and adjust in 3-inch increments to accommodate varying load requirements. Optional rollout shelving is also available. The cart is equipped with 6-inch high-temperature casters designed for cart washer use, including one directional-lock caster and one total-lock caster with brake and swivel lock for intuitive steering and control. A stainless steel hold-open door catch secures the door during wash cycles, providing improved access for cleaning.
